**NEW FOR 2011 REGISTRATION**
Every player will be charged the $60 Non-volunteer and uniform deposit fee.  Non-volunteer fee and uniform deposit will be refunded at the end of the season upon volunteer fulfillment and verification by team official and the return of your uniform.

In Burnaby soccer is played in the fall and winter - September to March. If you must to register in person, the club holds registrations at Wesburn Community Centre and Eastburn Community Centre  in May, June and 2 more during the first week of school in September. • Wesburn YSC is continuing our transition to online registration for the 2011/2012 season. We would encourage all players to register online if at all possible - i.e. use a friend's computer, the library, grandparents', etc. Paper registration will be phased out over the next couple years. Online registration not only eliminates paper waste, it drastically reduces the work load for our parent volunteers.

• Note: For players born in 2001 (U11) and 1997 (U15) , a passport sized photo (from the shoulders up) will be required with registration. For those registering on-line please mail your photo (write players name on back) or give to your U10 or U14 coach from the previous season. For those players that are new to Wesburn we will also require a copy of a birth certificate (or official proof of age). All current players must be registered in order to be called for divisional try-outs. Players will not be considered registered until we receive all required documents.

Saturday May  7 , 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Saturday June  4 , 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Thursday September  8 , 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM 

For the 2011 / 2012 season, in person registration will be held at Harwood Park only on: Saturday September  10 , 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

The Wesburn Community Centre  is located in Wesburn Park at the corner of Moscrop St. and Patterson Avenue in Burnaby. The community Center parking is off Parkwood Crescent. The Eastburn Community Centre is temporarily located at 7252 Kingsway in Burnaby. Harwood Park is located on Canada Way and Hardwick Street in Burnaby. 

Registration fees for 2011 / 2012 season:

* This registration fee includes a uniform fee of $40 as U18 players keep their uniform.
**Wesburn is a volunteer community organization; therefore, we require that each family registering a player volunteer some time to help with  club activities. Important registration notes:

• Team placement requests cannot always be accommodated. Returning players receive priority placement until June 15. After June 15, team placement requests are considered by date registration and payment are received. There will also be a late fee (see fee schedule) for all registrations received after June 14th . Late registration fees apply to all players (new and returning) registering after June 14th

• For information on the Children's Fitness Tax Credit, please click here. On-line registrations must print your receipt. Paper registrations will be given the signed pink copy.

• Registration forms will NOT be accepted without payment. If you wish to apply for assistance please visit the Kidsport website  or the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program (create a link to http://www.canadiantire.ca/jumpstart/funding.html).

• The Club accepts registration of players 10 years old and younger up to mid-September, but please register early to be guaranteed placement on a team.

• Divisional players must register by May. The Club needs to specify to the Burnaby district during the last week of June the number of divisional teams that the club will have for the coming season. The Club bases the number of teams on the number of divisional players registered by the end of June.

• You may also be able to register at the divisional try-outs. These take place each year in April and May. Please check the website home page at the beginning of April for dates and times.

OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST TO PARENTS OF NEW PLAYERS

Player Definitions:
     House - Players 10 years old and younger.
     Divisional - Players 11 years old and older.

• The Club provides jersey and shorts, socks, and a player/team photo as part of the registration fee.   Only the jersey is returned at the end of the season as the shorts and socks are yours to keep.

• Parents must provide shin pads and soccer boots (cleats). Children must wear shin pads during all practices and games.

• U6/7 & U8 practice indoors. These children must wear non marking running shoes for the practice.
